Event Planning and Marketing

As a Socialite in Washington, I’ve had the great pleasure of working with some of the most exciting people, nonprofits and corporations over the past decade. I have enjoyed creating one-of-a-kind events such The Courage Cup, Blondes vs. Brunettes for the Alzheimer’s Association, Fashion for Paws at the Embassy of France for the Washington Humane Society, Oscar Night DC for the American Red Cross, galas for the Corcoran Gallery of Art. In my career, I’ve planned conferences, CEO dinners, executive retreats, holiday parties, and even inaugural events!

Of course, creating memorable events is something I’d been doing long before I entered the career world—the fortunate result of growing up in a home in the South with a glamorous european mother who loved to cook and entertain. Our house was always filled with guests, whether for an intimate dinner party, or a big New Year’s Eve or summer party! I learned at a very young age how to greet guests, and make sure they felt welcome. As a southern girl, I participated in all the traditional rites of passage such as cotillion, debutante parties and balls.
